PWS Electrical was established in 2013 while I also held the role of Watch Commander for the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service. In the proceeding 6 years, PWS flourished and I made the difficult decision to leave the Fire Service to fully focus on the business in 2019. Since then it has grown from strength to strength.
Qualifying as an electrician in 2006 after a 3 year apprenticeship, I have undergone continual professional development to gain the skills and experience to become an approved electrician. PWS are SELECT registered for electrical installation and MCS registered for accredited solar and battery installations.
Having been on the receiving end of many bad experiences with tradesmen, I take pride in PWS being the exception to the rule. We turn up on time, work hard, and even clean up. I could go on, but it is the simple things customers need that set us apart from our competitors.
We have developed into a small team that can complete everything from very small jobs (such as changing sockets) all the way up to large solar PV installations. Lead times when booking are 1-2 weeks, but small works can often be fitted in sooner.

Paul and his team are simply the most friendly and professional team I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I’ve worked as an Engineer and Manager in the Construction Industry for over 20 years so I’ve dealt with hundreds of electricians/ electrical engineers and commissioning engineers but none were as diligent, easy going and friendly as the guys at PWS. Even the small details like finishes around fire rated plasterboard were top drawer. Brilliant service from a bunch of brilliant guys, five stars are simply not enough!!

Paul and his team are excellent. Everything he says in his blurb at the top is true. He knows what he’s talking about. Gives you good information to make the right choice, they really are clean and tidy. I can’t recommend him highly enough. He also installed my car charger… he is very well informed.
